The Völkl Peregrine 80 downhill skis are great all-mountain skis - they can handle long, medium or sharp, short turns, whether at a comfortable speed or at the limit of the descent, on soft or hard slopes. The Völkl Peregrine 80 skis, with a width under the binding of 80 mm, were developed for skiers who like to cut all radii and like to go fast.

The new Völkl Peregrine 80 ski shines in all turn radii thanks to new geometry, with a widened tip and shortened tip and tail rocker. The 80 mm width under the binding allows you to turn even faster and with less effort. The variation of curves is possible mainly thanks to the use of Tailored Carbon Tips. Carbon fibers, applied using the Tailored Fibre Placements (TFP) process, which is used exclusively by Völkl, allow for optimal cornering behavior. The strength and orientation of the fibers defines the effort required and the accumulation of energy exactly where it is needed. This means that at the start of the turn, the ski starts to lead the turn in a controlled and measured way, depending on how the skier pushes the edges. This design also allows for a lower weight without loss of stability. Last but not least, the TFP process allows the skis to be specifically tailored to the target groups.

Inside the ski is a proven, multi-layered wooden core with a combination of poplar and beech. Two full layers of Titanal provide the usual rigidity. The riding characteristics of the Völkl Peregrine 80 ski are also enhanced by the new LOWRIDE 12 TCX binding. The shortened plate combined with the wider drill bit provides a more direct, more powerful power transfer and allows for faster reboring.
