Product description
The mission is clear: preparedness and reliability. This helmet combines classic style and enduring values. Lightweight In-Mold construction with EPS liner and Aerocore™ technology in conjunction with Koroyd® structure is able to absorb 30% more energy. This combination allows even more vents to be placed without affecting safety, protection or rider comfort.
Aerocore™ construction improves ventilation and temperature regulation, which affects fogging and increases impact resistance.
The Koroyd® material structure with thousands of moulded tubes has excellent absorption properties and will burst in a controlled manner on impact. At the same time, it has excellent breathability, as the open cell system allows warm air to be drawn away from the head, with a constant supply of cool air. Effective ventilation is provided by 14 vents and the integrated AirEvac™ 2 ventilation provides synergy when defogging the goggles.
Helmet earmuffs are compatible with the Outdoor Tech™ audio system.
MIPS is a slippery liner between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact, the EPS shell of the helmet will roll a few millimetres over the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.
Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, the result is that MIPS significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that might otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
