Product description
The LEVEL MIPS ski helmet uses Aerocore technology in conjunction with Koroyd structure to absorb 30% more energy.
Effective ventilation is provided by 20 independently regulated vents in the front and rear.
Helmet earmuffs are compatible with the Outdoor Tech™ audio system
The helmet equipped with MIPS® (Multi - Directional Impact Protection System) technology consists of three main parts: the EPS polystyrene shell, the MIPS® slip liner and the elastomers that connect the first two parts. In the event of an angled impact, the elastomers stretch to allow the helmet shell to move slightly against the MIPS® glide liner, absorbing rotational forces. This is a movement of a few millimetres. But even these few millimeters, during those critical 2 milliseconds, can significantly reduce the amount of rotational forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
