Why do snowboards need to be serviced?
- sharp edges hold up on hard surface and at higher speeds
- waxed and perfectly smooth snowboard glides well on all types of snow
- waxing extends the life of the snowboard
- regular servicing saves edges and extends the life of the snowboard
Which service to choose?
In most cases you will have to decide between a small and a large service. We recommend a large service when the base is scratched, otherwise a small service is sufficient.
To service the SNB, it is always necessary to remove the binding, otherwise it would not be possible to sharpen the edges and service the base. For the subsequent reassembly of the binding, it is always necessary to clean the inserts and then properly glue the screws securing the binding. Any disassembly and assembly of bindings in all types of SNB service with us is charged an additional service fee of 200,- CZK (disassembly/assembly, inspection of inserts, cleaning of inserts, inspection of screws and their correct tightening).
Special services can be arranged directly on site with the operator.
After the season it is advisable to have the base waxed to prevent it from drying out during the summer.
