More about brand Rossignol
The company was founded by Abel Rossignol, a woodworker and avid skier , in 1907, when he produced his first all-wood skis. 30 years later, Emile Allais wins the World Championships on the brand's skis and in 1948 Henri Oreiller becomes the first French Olympic champion in history on the Olympic 41. The French manufacturer wins another Olympic gold in 1960 with Jean Vuamet and his first all-metal ski , the Allais 60s. Four years later, the first fibreglass skis under the name Strato are an international success .
Further growth of the brand occurs in the 1970s with the penetration of the American market and also the launch of cross-country skis. At the same time, the brand's success at top sporting events continues, with 6 gold medals in 10 alpine skiing events at the Calgary Olympics. In 1990, a collection of ski boots and downhillbindings is introduced.
Downhill skis
Rossignol offers downhill skis for all performance levels, including recreational skiers. Among the most popular models is the Radical 7 RSX, a tuned all-rounder with a medium radius and lightweight carbon fiber reinforcement. For more sporty riders, we recommend the Radical 9 GS for long arc or the Radical 9 SL slalom for short arc.ladies in particular appreciate the Attraxion women's range, which is tailored to the specific needs of the fairer sex while being environmentally friendly. Natural fibres are used in the production process, the slide is partially recyclable and the materials used are locally produced.
Traditionally, Rossignol women's skis are also popular. Beginners can choose the easy-going and forgiving Attraxion 1, while more experienced skiers can reach for the sharper Attraxion 3. In addition, this women's line includes environmentally friendly technologies.
You can find suitable models in the Rossignol downhill ski section of the shop.
Ski boots
Rossignol ski boots offer users a range of technologies that enhance the comfort of use and improve the transfer of power from the skier to the skis. These include Sensor 3 technology, which is based on an anatomical bootboard that allows the main three support points of the foot - that is, the mallet and toe areas and the heel - to make direct contact with the boot and the skeleton of the boot. In our offer you will find women's ski boots, recreational skiers will be fully satisfied with the Electra Vita Sensor 2 model, for more demanding riders there is the Electra Sensor 3. Among children's ski boots, the most popular are the very well-designed Fun Girl J3 or Comp J3 girls' boots based on the design of adult top models.
You can choose in the Rossignol ski boots department.
Kids skis
Among children's skis, as with the boots, the Fun Girl girls' model is the most popular, and the Princess skis are also very popular. Boys will appreciate the Radical J skis, which mimic the brand's racing top models. The children's skis are easy to handle and lightweight, so kids enjoy skiing on them and learn new skills easily.
