The ORTOVOX COL BECCHEI PANTS M technical softshell trousers for men are made from highly durable and stretchy MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT softshell material from the Swiss company Schoeller® on the outside. The special knit is windproof, highly breathable, dries quickly and has high mechanical resistance. The wool on the inside absorbs moisture into its core, so it is dry on the surface and warms even when wet. The trousers are lightweight, comfortable and durable enough.

• Cut Athletic Fit - for maximum freedom of movement during sports performance.
• Anatomically shaped knee area.
• Elastic waistband, adjustable with Velcro on the side. The entire circumference of the waist is lined with merino wool - for maximum comfort (it is pleasant and absorbs sweat).
• Reinforced ankle area against kicking by the edge of skis or a cat.
• Elastic, adjustable lower leg of trousers with the possibility of widening to a ski boot using a zip.
• Two front pockets with zip.

Sophisticated functional cut

The ORTOVOX COL BECCHEI PANTS M trousers have a refined cut, so you have maximum freedom of movement in them. Comfort is achieved thanks to several technical features. The main part of the trousers is made of stretch softshell MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT with DWR treatment against moisture and dirt. Only flat seams are used on the trousers, which do not press in any way. Elastic, adjustable waistband with Merino lining.

MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT

MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT is a membrane-free softshell material from the Swiss company Schoeller® that is extremely breathable and also provides sufficient protection against wind, water and dirt. The wool on the inside is woven directly onto the outer material, which ensures even greater comfort, insulation and excellent regulation of temperature and humidity.

• Treated with water-repellent DWR treatment without PFC content.
• Material weight - 175 g/m2.

Highest quality merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the finest merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years.

Merino wool properties:

• It can naturally regulate moisture - absorbing moisture into its internal structure and remaining dry on the surface.
• It can naturally regulate body temperature - it has a large thermoregulatory range.
• It is 100% environmentally friendly and is ecologically sustainable.
• It has antibacterial properties, thanks to which it can neutralize odors.

ORTOVOX has demanding criteria for the actual breeding of the sheep, which significantly affects the quality of their wool. In order to comply, ORTOVOX only buys wool from a few selected farms that are subject to regular inspection and that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

• ORTOVOX sources new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical animal welfare principles.
• Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the exacting quality requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.

These farms are regularly monitored under the OWP. The wool itself is 100% organic, and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and softness thanks to the thin fibres that make up the fine wool yarns. This wool also regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you'll feel comfortable in any conditions. On top of that, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial properties and is very easy to care for.
