Whether on or off the slopes, MOD7 creates a seamless helmet-wearing experience with a visor that offers a comprehensive package for any alpine adventure. The visionary Secure-Connect technology creates an integrated design that not only heralds the future of optics integration, but also sets a new standard for how helmets with visors can function. Combined with Prizm™ Lens technology, the MOD7 is ready for any conditions and terrain.

Technology:

  • SECURE-CONNECT: The patented Oakley Secure-Connect helmet technology seamlessly connects the optics and helmet into one unit, delivering a completely new experience. Secure-Connect magnetically connects and mechanically secures the visor to the helmet, both in the riding and deployed positions.
  • INTEGRATED PRIZM™ SHIELD: The integrated visor features a dual lens powered by Prizm Lens technology that improves contrast and increases clarity for detecting snow layers, textures and obstacles, and an internal anti-fog visor.
  • ADJUSTING THE LENS SEAL: There is a built-in adjustment button on the side of the helmet that allows the visor to be slid back into the user's face to help create a custom, comfortable seal.
  • PUSH BUTTON to pull out the visor: The visor eject button located on either side of the visor releases the visor from the helmet in both the riding and folded positions.
  • LENS LANDING ZONE: The Lens Landing Zone, located at the front/top of the helmet, allows the user to intuitively stow the visor in place just like traditional goggles using Secure-Connect technology.
  • DURAMATTER MIX SHELL: A hybrid shell construction method using a blend of durable DURAMATTER hard shell and traditional lightweight polycarbonate to create a well-balanced design that is strategically applied to selected areas of the helmet.
  • SKULL MATRIX: A unique integration that combines fit and protection allowing the helmet's internal retention system to wrap in all directions around the wearer's head, helping to ensure a secure comfortable fit.
