Futuristic design packed with technology – that's the Giro Orbit Spherical. The unique lens with Vivid by Zeiss technology guarantees that you will always see every detail on the slopes perfectly. Unique Spherical by MIPS technology increases protection against rotational forces. It works on the principle of a joint – the helmet shell consists of two hemispheres that move on each other like a joint. The outer shell can rotate around the inner shell in the event of an impact, reducing the forces that would otherwise act directly on the head and brain. It's like suspension inside the helmet. Maximum comfort is ensured by Polartec material padding, adjustable Thermostat Control ventilation and a Fidlock magnetic buckle.

In Form™Fit System

The In Form Fit system allows you to easily adjust the helmet size by up to 6 cm in seconds, even with gloves, using the Ergo-friendly wheel in the back of the helmet.

Spherical Technology™

The unique Spherical Technology™ is a collaboration between traditional helmet manufacturers Bell and Giro and is the result of further development of the MIPS® system. It is the insertion and flexible connection of a dome-shaped insert made of softer material into a harder shell of the same shape. This allows the shell to slide on the insert to a certain extent when forces are applied and absorbs forces that would otherwise be transferred to the head and brain, similar to MIPS® technology. All without compromising comfort, ventilation, weight or style.

VIVID technology

VIVID is a patented technology developed by Giro in collaboration with ZEISS Optics. VIVID greatly improves the visual experience of moving in the snow by improving contrast and sharpness - you'll see accurately without over-saturating colours. VIVID reduces eye fatigue, improves reaction time.
