The Avera Mips women's helmet was inspired by the panoramas of mountain ranges and stylish arches carved into fresh powder. The lightweight In-Mold shell is equipped with the In Form clamping system, which holds the helmet perfectly on the head. In addition to the 6 cm girth reduction, you also have a height adjustment to achieve the perfect combination with glasses or hair pulled back into a ponytail. When you've been skiing all day, you can quickly alternate between feeling cold and feeling hot. That's why you'll appreciate the easy-to-use Thermostat Control ventilation control - you won't even have to take off your gloves. The helmet is equipped with very soft inner linings.

MIPS is a cutting-edge system for protecting the brain against rotational forces. Thanks to the slippery insert between the liner and the shell, it redirects the impact energy during certain types of impact, thus significantly reducing the amount of rotational forces.

In Form™Fit System

The In Form Fit system allows you to easily adjust the helmet size by up to 6 cm in seconds, even with gloves, using the Ergo-friendly wheel in the back of the helmet.

In-Mold Construction
The In-Mold construction combines the advantages of a tough outer polycarbonate shell with a softer injection moulded inner material. This combination allows for better ventilation design and lighter helmet construction while maintaining a high level of protection.

Thermostat Control™

The adjustable ventilation control allows instant adjustment of airflow with a simple, low-profile control button on the outside of the helmet.

Vertical Tuning
With the vertical shift option, the helmet easily adjusts to different goggle and head shapes, so it fits you snugly with no gaps between your head and face.

MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System)

MIPS is a slippery liner between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an angled impact, the EPS shell of the helmet will roll a few millimetres over the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from the violent rotational jerk.
Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, the result is that MIPS significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that might otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
