Rental service

  • When is the rental service open?

    We are open daily (Monday-Sunday), the opening hours can be found here.

  • What are the conditions for loan?

    For renting, it is necessary to present one proof of identity (ID card, driving licence, passport or birth certificate, legal capacity - over 18 years of age), deposit in advance in cash (in the amount specified in the price list).
    Borrowed material must be returned cleaned of gross dirt.
    The deposit will be refunded upon proper return of the rented material.

  • Is a deposit required?

    For renting, it is necessary to make a deposit in cash (payment by card is not possible), the amount of which depends on the goods to be rented according to the valid price list.

  • What should I take with me?

    If you intend to rent boots, we recommend you come and try them on in person. Each boot manufacturer has a slightly different shape of the inner bootie and boot chosen solely by their number may not fit you perfectly. Ideally, you should try the boots on straight away with the socks you want to do sport in.

    If you want to rent:
    1. skis only, take one of your ski boots with you (to adjust the bindings)
    2. boots only, bring your own skis - we will set up and adjust your bindings for free

    If you want to rent skis for someone else, be sure to find out their body height, exact weight and skiing ability. Without this information it is not possible to make an accurate adjustment of the binding. If you arrive in person, you can be weighed and measured by us.

  • How do I book ski equipment loan?

    Use our booking page to see the products available for loan for your desired date or drop by and visit us.

  • How can I edit / cancel a booking I made?

    Reservations can be cancelled or modified by phone or in person.

  • Is it possible to extend the rental period?

    Extenstion is possible on request. If the goods are not booked by another customer, we will be happy to extend your reservation.

  • How is the rental period calculated?

    A rental of 24 hours is considered as one rental day. This means that if you rent your skis on Friday at 8pm and return them the following Saturday by 8pm, you only pay for one day; similarly, if you return them on Sunday by 8pm, you only pay for two days.

    TIP: For day trips, we recommend that you rent your skis the night before you leave and return them the next evening when you return - you will only pay the rate for 1 day.

  • Can I rent skis for the whole season?

  • How long do I rent whole-season skis for?

    The contract is always for 12 months.

  • What about insurance for loaner equipment?

    You can insure your rental equipment against unintentional damage. The insurance prices are listed in the table for each type of ski or equipment. This insurance does not cover loss or theft of the loaned equipment or damage caused by improper use (e.g. driving on poorly snow-covered terrain or on gravel roads).
    If it is obvious that the skis have not been used where they are supposed to be used (e.g. gravel from the road hitting the ski base), it will be clear that the equipment has not been used properly and you will be liable for such damage and will be charged for the repair of the ski base according to our ski service price list.

  • What should I do if my skis are stolen in a hotel or a restaurant?

    We recommend that you leave your skis and other equipment in the hotel or restaurant in the designated places. If skis are stolen from such a place, this is called "liability for damage caused to brought in or stored items" within the meaning of the relevant provisions of the Civil Code and the hotel or restaurant operator is liable for the damage. However, the right to compensation must be asserted against the hotel or restaurant operator without undue delay.

    Should you find yourself in such a situation, please contact us immediately by phone and we will advise you on the most appropriate course of action to ensure that the damage is claimed correctly.

  • Can I retrurn earlier the loaned goods?

    Yes, it is possible to return earlier. However, please note that the rental price will remain the same.
