The Salomon Prolink Shift Plate mounting plate for cross-country ski bindings allows for installation on flat skis without a plate, and a transition to Salomon Prolink Shift Race and Prolink Pro Classic bindings. The hole pattern is the same as for SNS bindings, so the skis do not need to be re-drilled when switching from the older standard. We recommend entrusting the installation on un-drilled flat skis to a service center, or using a template (must be purchased separately).

How to choose cross-country ski bindings
When choosing a cross-country ski binding, it is very important to clarify in advance which of the two mutually incompatible systems (SNS and NNN) to choose. Both systems use their own types of boots and, thanks to the integrated binding mounting plates, also skis. If you make a mistake in this respect, your bindings will not work with your type of cross-country boots.
